Yesterday, Comrade Trabi carried me a total of 60,000 indicated kilometers since we met!
For the incorrigible patriots that want to do things the hard way, that's about 37,500 miles.

This adventure really began in 2010, but Comrade Trabi entered active service on the 1st of May, 2012.
Since then, we've been busy with many trips to Haymarket and Forest Home, sometimes with visiting dignitaries on board, 340km each way to Wisconsin Dells twice, once to visit more Trabants in Indiana, and along the way we've made countless friends and maybe 4 or 5 enemies.

Nearly all of the adventures are documented right here on TrabantForums, so I won't elaborate too much.

    But let's see……
    1 May 2012 to 11 March 2015 = 2 years, 10 months, 10 days, 1,044 days in total.

    So that's about...
    57.47km per day
20,977km per year…. mostly in grueling Chicago traffic. 13,000 miles for those that love the hard way.

The tires, new in 2011, are now worn out. Many other things will be needing attention again soon as well.

All in a car that that is many thousands of kilometers away and decades distant from its home country which doesn't even exist anymore!
