  2. I have received a lot of messages asking about the future of the forums once my car sells. Well today it sold and will soon be on its way to its new home. With that said, for the forums, there is more information under 'Announcements" titled "Future of the Forums' you could also copy and paste this link: http://www.trabantforums.com/threads/future-of-the-forums-donations.1762/

The scope of the error is so large it's hard to craft a reply. But really it's not relevant to the point of her article so whatever. I mean really, it's not just a little bit wrong. East Germany had a huge automobile/motorized vehicle industry relative to its size. Think of a state the size of Ohio producing a full line of vehicles from motorcycles to passenger cars to vans to heavy trucks, all under a steel embargo from the West and with every little part of all those vehicles sourced from within the borders of Ohio. Amazing.

Well, for what it's worth, I commented on the article as TrabantForums and made a couple corrections. Including mentioning the Wartburg and Barkas :)
