    From August 24 to 26, 2012 (next year!), there will take place our Trabant-Meeting in Switzerland again. The place we meet is on the "Trabrennbahn Schachen" in Aarau: http://maps.google.ch/maps?f=q&sour...47.389692,8.033881&spn=0.010881,0.020385&z=16

    All Trabant or IFA-enthusiast from all over the world are cordially invited.

    In 2007 there came together about 130 cars from Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Czech Republic. We are looking forward to welcoming even more people from other countries ;)

    Sorry, didn't see the 2012. I'd love to go back to Switzerland, I spent some time in Lucerne, gorgeous country.

    It might actually be possible, could you get me some information as to where the wife and I could stay?

    Aarau is about 50 km from Lucerne or also 50 km from Zurich and I live in the middle of each of them (about 30 km to Lucerne, to Zurich or to Aarau).

    On the meeting days, most people sleep in a tent or in a caravan. I could lend you a tent for 2 persons :cool:

    There are also hotels nearby, but it's quite expensive in Switzerland.

    How many days would you like to spend? What are your expectations about the accomodation? Do you want to live in a 5*-hotel or is a youth hostel or private "couch-surfing" OK?
