  2. I have received a lot of messages asking about the future of the forums once my car sells. Well today it sold and will soon be on its way to its new home. With that said, for the forums, there is more information under 'Announcements" titled "Future of the Forums' you could also copy and paste this link: http://www.trabantforums.com/threads/future-of-the-forums-donations.1762/

I am currently looking for a Trabant for a long term project. Not something that needs a complete overhaul to get started, but it runs and has its kinks and knocks. Maybe its got more character than paint, but she needs to be a strong car otherwise.

I am not a mechanic per se, but I can manage on part swaps and I know how to weld and bondo if needed. But to be honest electrical nonsense has yet to make full sense to me.

If you know of a Trabi looking for a home in the East coast of the US, give me a shout.

    Thanks.
