Not sure if this is old news, but I love this 60's promotional video for the Tatra 603. Seemingly, there's nothing at all it can't do; plus beautiful views of Prague and the Czech countryside!

Surprised they advertise its tendency to fishtail as a positive thing! ;)

Any of you guys ever been to the Lane motor museum in Nashville, TN? They have the largest collection of Tatras in the world.

I think this is one of the last Tatras built. By that time, communism was over, the country had split. From my understanding you had to work in the government or be "well to do" to own a Tatra in communist CZ.

I was an ill-fated attempt to market the car in a free market society trying to compete against the makes of BMW, Mercedes Benz and others.

Perhaps the common man's logic was, "well if I could not own one back then , why the hell would I buy one now".
