All syrup is cooked over a burner with 2-stroke gas modified from a Sirocco heater. I added a Mikuni carb to up the BTU a little.

What a great week end!! Everybody got their Trabi fixed (or is that "their Trabi Fix?) Some even began to run better and all received a good road test. Maybe one never needed attention (must not be a real Trabi). Too bad the weather didn't help us show off the Finger Lakes area.
On Friday all Trabis disguised themselves as race cars and rushed around the Watkinsglen International race track. Then onto Hammondsport for a great lunch and the Glenn Curtis Museum.
Ninety mile round trip. Who ever thought a Trabi could do that in a day?
Saturday was a bit more tame with a visit to Taughannock Falls and then a hill climb to the Tompkins Country Regional Airport to see the restoration of a 1918 Thomas Morse Trainer airplane scheduled to be flying in 2018.
Should have seen the looks the Parade of Trabants received while driving thru Cornell University!
Too bad Trabies don't run on chocolate! Bill's wife Darlynne, took us all to her chocolate shop where everyone bought chocolate.
frogbros had to leave and missed a great home cooked Hungarin guyoush and before that a trip to the Distiller's where we tried some of the "spirits".

Thank you for coming to our home. It was great and we invite everyone back when you are in the area. Or make a special trip.
